Zaha Hadid designs in Seoul

As a female who has worked in predominately male dominated occupations I find Zaha inspiring predominately for her ability to demand respect from her peers.

Seeing her work first hand in Seoul at DDP, it really hit me how impressive her designs are in terms of scale, fluidity and the meshing of brutal concrete and curving metal.

To me her work is not aesthetically what I like, however I am still drawn to her designs in terms of their materiality. You want to touch them. To explore them. To be a part of them.

Zaha has left an eternal legacy in her field to be fearless and to believe in your ideas and that confidence conquers.
